Privacy policy
This website sets no cookies, doesn't follow you around the internet, and doesn't sell anything about you. If you book a demo, we use your details to hold the call and follow up on it.
The short version
- No cookies, no advertising trackers, no consent banner — because there's nothing that needs one.
- We count visits with Plausible, which records no personal data and sets no cookies.
- Booking a demo goes through Cal.com. We keep those details only as long as the conversation needs them.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you, any time.

1. Who we are
Own Studio is built and run by PYTECH, a sole trader (preduzetnik) registered with the Serbian Business Registers Agency under number 65385775. PYTECH is the controller of the personal data described here.
Registered name: PYTECH
Address: Štitari bb, Kruševac, Serbia
Email: pytechserbia@gmail.com
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers this website, ownstudio.app, and the demo calls booked from it.
It does not cover the booking apps we build for studios. Each studio's app has its own privacy policy. In those apps the studio decides what happens to its members' data, and we handle that data on the studio's behalf under an agreement with them.
3. What we collect and why
| When | What | Why, and on what basis | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| You visit the site | Technical request data kept by our hosting provider: IP address, browser, time and page requested. | To deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Our legitimate interest in running a working, secure website. | A short period set by the hosting provider, then deleted. |
| You visit the site | Plausible analytics: page viewed, the site that sent you, country, device type and browser. No cookies. Your IP address is not stored. | To see which pages and channels bring people to the site. Our legitimate interest in understanding what works. The data is aggregate and can't identify you. | Aggregate counts only, kept while we use the service. |
| You book a demo | Your name, email address, the time you pick and anything you write in the booking form. | To arrange the call, send the invitation and follow up on it. Steps you asked us to take before any agreement. | Up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer. |
| You email us | Your email address and what you write. | To reply. Our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps before an agreement if you're asking about the service. | Up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer. |
If you become a customer, the subscription agreement and its own privacy terms take over from this policy.
5. Who else handles it
We use a small number of providers to run the site and the demo calls. Each handles personal data only to provide its service to us.
- Hosting: Vercel Inc. (USA).
- Analytics: Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia, EU).
- Demo bookings: Cal.com, Inc. (USA).
- Video calls and calendar invitations: Google LLC (USA), through Google Meet.
- Email: Google LLC (USA), through Gmail.
Some of these providers are outside the EU, the UK and Serbia. Where that's the case, the transfer relies on the safeguards the provider offers, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent personal data.
- We don't use advertising trackers or build profiles of visitors.
- Booking a demo doesn't sign you up for a newsletter. We don't have one.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, data protection law — the EU and UK GDPR, and Serbia's Law on Personal Data Protection — gives you the right to:
- see the personal data we hold about you, and get a copy;
- have it corrected, or deleted;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- take it elsewhere in a common format.
Email us at the address in section 1. We'll reply within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Serbia, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office; in the EU, the authority in your country. We'd appreciate the chance to sort it out first.
8. Children, security and changes
Children. This site is for studio owners and isn't aimed at anyone under 16.
Security. The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we keep access to the data above limited to what each provider needs.
Changes. If we change this policy, the date at the top changes with it. A significant change will be described here.
